Crittenton Home Care Supports Glaucoma Awareness Month

AUBURN HILLS, MI, January 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) In support of Glaucoma Awareness Month , Crittenton Home Care offers information on prevention and healthy eye care. According to the Glaucoma Research Foundation, more than 2.2 million Americans, and more than 60 million people worldwide, have glaucoma.

Glaucoma is the leading cause of preventable blindness, and is often referred to as "the sneak thief of sight" because there are no symptoms. The good news is that glaucoma is preventable and treatable with regular eye exams.
