RALEIGH, NC, January 25, 2013 (Press-News.org) Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality (http://www.rockytophospitality.com/), has announced that The Daily Planet Cafe recently received a Diamond award from Midtown magazine as the most kid-friendly dining experience in Raleigh. The award was presented during the magazine's 5th annual Diamond Awards ceremony on Jan 3. A North Hills lifestyle publication, Midtown magazine's Diamond Awards honor the community's favorite dining, shopping and entertainment locales across the City of Oaks. With access to the museum and its newly expanded Nature Research Center, families have the opportunity to dine and tour the world of science all in the same visit.

QUOTES:
"Having been open for less than one year, it is truly an honor to be recognized by Midtown's Diamond Awards as the area's most kid-friendly restaurant," said Ogan. "At The Daily Planet Cafe, we work to make the dining experience of all our customers an enjoyable one, and with close proximity to the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, children can explore science and enjoy a meal that highlights the freshest local ingredients from our great state."
