MCLEAN, VA, October 20, 2010 (Press-News.org) Are you ignoring the obvious? Disregarding the financial-record disaster you've created in your company? Is your business' bookkeeping in a terrifying state?
Witness to this scenario several times over in its work with small businesses, BookKeeping Express is coming to the financial-recording rescue of one lucky company. From Boston to Tacoma and everywhere in between, small businesses entering the "Great 2010 Accounting Makeover" contest stand to win a comprehensive BookKeeping Express 12-month service package.
"We see it day in and day out. Few business owners truly understand the negative impact of falling behind on their financial records," said Greg Jones, CEO of BookKeeping Express. "The savings available to businesses that keep their books current can be huge. Not to mention the peace of mind it offers."
Whether frustrated and struggling to understand cash flow and expenses or in doubt about how to account for payables and receivables, all small businesses nationwide can nominate themselves for the makeover. Business owners and management interested in the makeover must enter the contest by e-mailing a link to a video, photos or a few sentences conveying the accounting nightmare they are facing to makeover@bookkeepingexpress.com. BookKeeping Express will post entries to http://www.facebook.com/BookKeepingExpress and the winner will be named on Monday, December 20, 2010. All entries must be e-mailed by noon ET on December 17, 2010.
"For those feeling like they've lost a grip on their books, we suggest submitting your story as soon as possible," added Jones. "The longer you have people voting for you, the better chance you have at winning."
The contest winner will be chosen through a "like" vote system, in which small businesses encourage business associates, friends and family to "like" their entry on the BookKeeping Express Facebook page. The small business' entry with the most "like" votes will be deemed the winner.
The winning small business will receive:
• A review of previous year's financials (up to 12 months)
• Comparison reports to industry standard
• 20 hours of consultation (can be used at beginning or spread out)
Plus, BookKeeping Express will give all entrants a waiver on their set-up fee (up to $500 value).
To help ensure a full accounting overhaul, BookKeeping Express will customize its consultative and strategic accounting services for the winner.
With more than 28 million small businesses around the United States, BookKeeping Express offers a much-needed service to companies that are not equipped or do not wish to handle accounting responsibilities such as setting up charts of accounts and general ledgers, monthly data entry, processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, producing monthly reports and tax reporting. Plus, BookKeeping Express utilizes a Custom Flex Pricing Model that is based on the clients' needs instead of a one-fits-all, hourly billing approach.
As part of the BookKeeping Express franchise model, local BKE office owners have the support of the BookKeeping Express Service Center, a domestic outsourcing solution which allows franchisees to focus their attention on their business and client consultation, while having the ability to grow their business without hiring additional employees. The Service Center also serves as a new sales channel for BookKeeping Express franchise offices. Local BKE office owners can sell the service in their communities to CPA firms and independent bookkeepers.
In addition, all BookKeeping Express franchise offices will offer the BKE Connect system, which allows businesses access to all bookkeeping files remotely through an outside server, as well as a dashboard that clearly and visually 'sums' up the business' operations for thorough analysis. Plus, small to mid-sized business owners can synchronize their QuickBooks and enjoy convenient, anytime access to their financial documents through BKE EDocs, a new electronic filing system designed to provide secure, online storage of financial documents.
Two options available to BookKeeping Express investors include Master or Area Development territories that can be operated out of home-based or commercial space locations; per territory start-up fees run under $50,000.
