Call for Nominations in Fourth Annual Industry Blogger Awards

Awards recognize best blogs in design and remodeling industry -- new category for 2013, Microblogs, recognizes outstanding short blog format.

SAN DIEGO, CA, January 27, 2013 (Press-News.org) San Diego-based remodeling firm, winner of the 2011 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, Jackson Design & Remodeling (JDR) today announced a call for nominations for its fourth annual JDR Industry Blogger Awards, which recognize the nation's best blogs in the design and remodeling industry. This year, JDR has introduced a new category to recognize the growing influence of social media. The Best Microblog category encompasses the shorter blog format used on sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr, where a post may be as simple as a sentence, a photo or a video link.

Nominations for the 2013 Industry Blogger Awards will be accepted online through Friday, Feb. 15. Blogs may be submitted in one of six categories: Architecture, Green, Construction Business, Interior Design, Remodeling and Microblog. Click here to nominate a blog.

Voting for the 2013 Industry Blogger Awards will begin on Feb. 25 and end at 2 p.m. PST April 12. The six winners will be announced April 17. The blog that receives the most votes in each category will be the winner of that category. Each winning blogger will receive $500 cash and a 2013 Industry Blogger Award Winner badge for display on their website.
