CARLSBAD, CA, August 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) Jet Methods, Inc., a private aircraft charter and asset management company headquartered at the McClellan Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, announced that during their recent Grand Opening Sneak Preview Hangar Party held on Thursday, July 15, 2010, to benefit the Jammer Family Foundation, proceeds from a charter flight flown that evening will be donated to the Jammer Family Foundation. A guest in attendance challenged Jet Methods to fly he and his friends to Las Vegas that night, so that the proceeds of the flight could be donated back to the Jammer Foundation. Jet Methods was able to coordinate the flight in record time and the guest along with his six friends departed that evening aboard Jet Methods Citation CJ3 Jet, and returned the following morning. Proceeds from the event will benefit the non-profit organization founded by San Diego Charger Quentin Jammer and his wife Alicia, which supports a variety of programs that deliver encouragement and support to disadvantaged youth. In addition to Quentin and Alicia Jammer, event sponsors included Symbolic Motors, South Coast Winery, Dinners by David, Zanzibar Cafe, Twenty/20, Savory, Hudson Printing, DiningOut San Diego, Don Clark and Eleanor Clark Design Group.
According to President Grayson Grove, "We were greatly surprised and delighted by the extraordinary request and pleased that we could fulfill the offer to fly the guests to Las Vegas. We had our pilots on staff that evening to give tours of our fleet of jets, and as a result, we were able to donate a significant portion of the flight to the Jammer Family Foundation. It was certainly an unusual request, but glad that the guests were so inspired by the fundraising effort that night to come up with a creative way to give back right on the spot. Needless to say, it added to the excitement of the evening!"

Why Don't Fad Diets Work?
2010-08-22
One of the many diet and exercise programs that has come and gone over the years was the Susan Powter diet. Her "Stop the Insanity" program said that it was "fat that was making us fat." It is true that Americans consume too much fat in their diet. Corn fed beef is full of fat. It is not natural for cows to eat corn; but that's how meat producers supply our demand. Instead of yielding more beef this process generates more abnormal fat. The cows are also fed bovine growth hormones which make them quickly gain weight to bring more dollars at slaughter. This combination causes ...

The Importance of Aggressive Defense Against Child Pornography Charges
2010-08-22
More so than other types of crimes, those involving the alleged exploitation of children have the potential to ruin lives and reputations. These cases are often tried in the court of public opinion far sooner than they are taken before a judge and jury. Although the burden of proof lies with the State or Government, by the time the trial starts, the Defendant often feels he actually bears the burden of proving his own innocence.
