New American Freight Discount Furniture store opens in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

DELAWARE, OH, January 31, 2013 (Press-News.org) The newest American Freight Furniture and Mattress discount furniture store opened in Goodlettsville, Tennessee on Friday, January 25. The 20,000 square foot furniture warehouse is situated at 309 North Main Street and is the sixth in the state. American Freight now has stores in Antioch, Clarksville, and Goodlettsville to serve the Nashville area, as well as additional locations in Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Memphis. The opening of this new American Freight Furniture store marks the 80th location nationwide and brought ten new jobs to the Nashville community.

American Freight is a warehouse-style discount furniture store specializing in furniture obtained through factory closeouts, dealer cancellations, retail chain buyouts, and wholesale liquidations. The stores carry house brands as well as famous name brands like Simmons and Serta, and offer a free layaway program.

"We are so excited to bring American Freight to Goodlettsville, and the response there has been overwhelmingly positive," said Kelly Warren, spokesperson for American Freight. "Tennessee has been an extremely successful state for us, and as the economy continues to remain volatile, it is great to know we're providing another community with the chance to get great furniture for their dollar."

Customers can visit the American Freight Furniture store in Goodlettsville Monday-Thursday from 12pm-8pm, Friday from 10am-8pm, Saturday from 10am-7pm, and Sunday from 12pm-5pm.
