CASSELBERRY, FL, February 03, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Jimmie Van Zant Band is returning to its roots! The band will headline on Sunday February 10th, 2013 at 3pm in celebration of the 40th Annual Everglades Seafood Festival in Everglades City, Florida.
The three day weekend event lasting February 8, 9, and 10, features fresh local seafood, a fun fair, as well as many arts and crafts vendors. For 40 years, The Everglades Seafood Festival has been the mecca for Florida seafood and country music; drawing in over 50,000 people every year to a tiny, historic town with a population of about 500. Last years music lineup included Grammy-nominated country artist David Nail. Jimmie Van Zant is currently booking his 2013 Flesh, Bone, and Blood Tour across America. The release date for his new buzzed-about music video for the upcoming single, 'Unfinished Life', anticipates announcement in the near future. The video will debut on websites for CMT, MTV, Vh1, and GAC. The veteran rocker and Florida native is returning home to carry on the music legacy of his cousins, Ronnie, Johnny, and Donnie of Lynyrd Skynyrd and .38 Special.
