Book Contest 2013 Now Seeking Entries from Authors, Publishers and Writers

RIDGECREST, CA, February 03, 2013 (Press-News.org) In an effort to promote the work of Independent and Small Press authors, LuckyCinda Publishing is proudly sponsoring a book contest for self-published and independently published writers. All entrants of the Second Annual California Book Contest will receive an autographed award-winning novel, free book marketing tips, and substantial discounts for consultations with big-name authors and expert book promoters.

In addition, every author will receive a copy of our Kindle Bestselling E-book Marketing Guide: $ell more Ebook$ - how to increase sales and Amazon rankings using Kindle Direct Publishing. Each entry will also be placed in a separate drawing. The prize: A feature article on our sister site, http://kindlebookpromos.luckycinda.com.

LuckyCinda Publishing will consider self-published and independently published work released on or after Jan. 1, 2011.

Entries must be in English and must be self-published or issued by an independent publishing company. The authors do not have to be California residents.

Note: Authors using Print on Demand (POD) firms like Lightning Source or CreateSpace are also eligible for the competition.

GRAND PRIZE for the 2013 BOOK OF THE YEAR:

The first 10 pages of your book will be read, evaluated and considered for traditional publishing by the Michael Larsen-Elizabeth Pomada Literary Agency.

There will be 2 Grand Prize winners: One for Fiction, One for Non-Fiction.

In addition Grand Prize winners will receive a one-hour FREE consultation with one of the nation's most respected book marketing experts, Brian Jud, who has self-published five best-selling books on career transition that are distributed internationally.

In addition to the grand prize winner, the judges will choose first and second place selections in each of the following categories and may also choose honorable mentions: (No Erotica or Pornography)
