American Idol Alumnus Bo Bice Rocks Mill Town Music Hall on Feb. 8; Nashville's Mama's Blue Dress will showcase their tunes to open the concert

Mill Town Music Hall is pleased to announce that popular American Idol alumnus Bo Bice will return to its stage on Friday, Feb. 8. Opening for Bice will be Nashville up-and-comers Mama's Blue Dress.

SMYRNA, GA, February 07, 2013 (Press-News.org) As part of the venue's one-year celebration, Mill Town Music Hall is serving as one of the host sites for the Smithsonian Institute's "New Harmonies" exhibit. New Harmonies is a traveling exhibition that shares America's story by examining the roots of American music.

Bice was the runner-up to Carrie Underwood during the 2005 season of American Idol. He charted a number two song on the Billboard Hot 100 with a rendition of "Inside Your Heaven." He has recorded three albums since Idol: The Real Thing (2005), See the Light (2007) and 3 (2010). These days Bice is taking his diverse vocal abilities on a new path as he writes songs and is enjoying his first brush with the Nashville community.

Mama's Blue Dress is an all-female country quartet who has made their presence known with their unique style, which includes hosting bake sales and cakewalks following their shows. Their music has been described as air tight harmonies, vocal chemistry, blazing twin fiddles and a hint of soul.
