JACKSONVILLE, FL, February 10, 2013 (Press-News.org) Michelle L. Ash, Managing Partner, Paragon Wealth Strategies, LLC, has earned the Chartered Advisor for Senior Living" (CASL) professional designation from The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.

Candidates for the CASL designation must complete a minimum of five courses and 10 hours of supervised examinations. They must also fulfill stringent experience and ethics requirements.

The CASL program is considered the most comprehensive curriculum available for financial advisors interested in effectively serving the unique financial needs of seniors. Once the program is completed, a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living" can provide expert advice on a broad range of financial topics including health insurance, long term care financing, pension planning, trusts, Medicare and Medicaid supplemental planning, financial and estate planning, and more. Over 2,800 individuals have been awarded the CASL designation since its inception in April of 2004.

Ms. Ash is the co-founder and co-owner of Paragon Wealth Strategies, LLC, which opened its doors for business in 2005. She began her career in the financial services industry in 1998, after having graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisville in 1995. In addition to the CASL designation, she is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, specializing in retirement planning, comprehensive wealth management, and assisting clients in or nearing retirement to ensure their assets and their planning are structured to provide them comfort and success throughout retirement.
