VFBC Center Launches an Affordable, Up-market Venue Space

Vision of Faith Bible College Center - VFBC Center - officially launches an independent venue rental space for education and community events.

ROANOKE, VA, February 11, 2013 (Press-News.org) The official launch events for the VFBC Center, an independent venue rental space for education and community events, take place March 1 through March 2, 2013. VFBC Center is located at 3101 Cove Road, NW Building 1, Roanoke, VA 24017, adjacent to the Garden of Prayer Church. The Center offers a banquet hall, fellowship hall, and several meeting rooms.

On Friday, March 1st, at 6PM everyone is invited to attend the free ribbon cutting ceremony where you can enjoy refreshments while touring the facility. On Friday at 7PM, Hers&Mine Enterprises will present "First Friday Christian Art Showcase" featuring Clyde Cumberlander, Jr., a saxophone artist for Gospel great John P. Kee. Showcase tickets are $20 advanced purchase, which includes dinner, poetry, praise & worship, spoken word, open MIC, and more. There will also be a silent auction during the showcase. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Vision of Faith Bible College. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $25.

On Saturday, March 2nd, from 8AM to 2PM, Vision of Faith Bible College launches the season opening for the "Saturday Marketplace" that occurs each first Saturday through November. The marketplace is an indoor/outdoor flea market where community members have an opportunity to sell and purchase new and used items. Entrance to the marketplace is free for shoppers, and vendors only pay $7.00 per table rental. Vendors are encouraged to make advanced reservations by contacting the college at (540) 242-8789.

"We are proud to launch an affordable, up-market venue space for our community's needs, which could be for education, social, business, or church events. At Vision of Faith Bible College, our goal is to make a positive impact on our community by empowering them to achieve more, and the VFBC center is one avenue we are using", said VFBC President, Gail A. Brown. The two-day launch event is planned to be beneficial to all. Event vendors interested in being on VFBC Center's preferred vendor list should inquire at (540) 242-8789.

VFBC Center is owned and managed by Vision of Faith Bible College (VFBC), a nonprofit accredited Christian college. VFBC Center hosts the administrative offices and classrooms for Vision of Faith Bible College. The Center is located at 3101 Cove Road, NW, Building 1, Roanoke, VA 24017.
