CAMBRIDGE, MA, October 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) Isurus' research in the last year in a range of B2B markets reveals important trends in how businesses adapt to the recession, and these changes have important implications for B2B marketers.
"While there are certainly nuances in how the recession impacts buying behavior in each sector, we're seeing three broad trends. One of them relates to uncertainty and confidence levels among buyers, and how it impacts both their willingness to buy and their process for buying. Second, we're seeing a trend in the scale of purchases. For example, there is less interest in enterprise-wide technology implementations and more interest in smaller-scale solutions. Third, we're seeing that the recession is actually creating opportunities for some types of providers." - Jeana McNeil, Vice President.
The trends identified in Isurus' research have important implications for how B2B marketers forecast their business, and how they adapt marketing and sales activities to respond to the realities of the marketplace.
