Arizona Crime Victim Attorney, Law Office of Sara J. Powell to Sponsor a Table at the Valley of the Sun Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children Fundraiser

18th annual Valley of the Sun Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children Fundraiser Auction and Dinner to be held February 22, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona

PHOENIX, AZ, February 12, 2013 (Press-News.org) Arizona Crime Victim Attorney, Law Office of Sara J. Powell will sponsor a table at the 18th annual Valley of the Sun Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children Fundraiser Auction and Dinner. The sponsored table will be donated to members of the organization. The event will be held February 22, 2013 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Mountain Preserve Reception Center located at 1431 E. Dunlap in Phoenix, Arizona.

Both a silent and live auction will be held with more than 300 prizes. All prizes are donated by friends, family and the business community. In addition to the auctions, the evening will feature dinner and dancing.

"The Valley of the Sun Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children is an organization for the families and friends of those who have died by violence," said Sara Powell, attorney, Law Office of Sara J. Powell. "This worthy group provides assistance to all homicide survivors while working to create a world free of murder. I support this organization wholeheartedly and encourage everyone to attend this event."

Dinner tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children ages three to twelve. To purchase tickets and/or to donate items for the auction, please call (602) 254-8818.

The mission of Parents of Murdered Children is to provide on-going emotional support, education, prevention, advocacy and awareness. The organization strives to assist all survivors of homicide victims while working to create a world free of murder. Membership is open to anyone who has had a loved one murdered. Professionals helping grieving families may also join. The national organization is a tax-exempt organization under the Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service.
