EYES IN Releases Issue 16 of Their Award Winning Digital Magazine

Issue 16 of EYES IN Magazine is an engaging, digital, first ever MagBook publication featuring innovative tales of creators from around the globe.

2013-02-12
NEW YORK, NY, February 12, 2013 (Press-News.org) During her travels to the world's greatest fashion shows in Paris, Milan, and London, to the film festivals in Park City, Berlin and Cannes, to the art & design shows in Miami, Basel, Milan, and Hong Kong and to a range of global health, beauty and science seminars, Editor-in-Chief and President of EYES IN Vivian Van Dijk finds the most compelling individuals to profile since launching EYES IN Magazine in late 2010. Specifically magnifying stories from New York to Russia, Denmark and all the way to Argentina, Issue 16 of EYES IN Magazine features stories from Music Sensation Kwanza Jones, Russian Filmmaker and Playwright Vasili Sigarev, Singer/Songwriter Claudia Lee, an expose on Ford's 2013 Fusion with Designer J. Mays, the art of capturing beauty with Issue 16 Cover Artist Troy Jensen, the culinary exquisiteness of Chef Thomas Rode Andersen, Medical Insiders Dr. Colby and Dr. Herbert Benson, and other informative, entertaining tales from vibrant creators.

Each creator is interviewed about their life, work, inspiration, and how they see their work evolving or revolutionizing the world over time. Snippets from interviews include:

Photographer David Balyeat
"Every place has a specific energy and feeling about it, from the most remote wilderness to the busiest cities. My job as an artist is to harness that energy and to capture in a single shot the emotional reaction a viewer would experience as if they were transported into the scene."

Musician Kwanza Jones
"Life is emotion. Music is my way of capturing that emotion. By recording music and creating songs, I am able to turn it into a tool. Think of the times when you have used music as a tool to help you find the words you need to say or to get you pumped for a workout or to soothe your frustration in rush-hour traffic? Thinking of instances like those help me put emotion into music."

Ford Car Designer J. Mays
"I like to tell stories much in the same way a film director tells a story through film. In the Ford design studios we do the same thing by bending the sheet metal in such a way to communicate each vehicle's unique story. Every great movie has a memorable story but many end up being just a sequence of special effects. Likewise, great automobiles have a story to tell, while the majority is too often just special effects that quickly go out of fashion."

Artist Allison Schulnik
"Being king of the castle every day of my life, having complete freedom to make things exactly as I want them without compromise. Or at least as close as I can get to what they are in my head, given my limitations of being human and not a robot."

Chef Thomas Rode Andersen
"The change of the seasons is one of the largest sources of inspiration. The knowledge of when, during the year, the raw produces are at the peak of their perfection makes me capable of planning the menu well in advance and to be able to implement the new techniques that makes them shine once again."
