For the past eight years, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has been scouting the country for the best in business and honoring leading companies with this prestigious award. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is honoring greeNEWit for their critical role in creating jobs and growing the economy.
The Blue Ribbon Award winners show that, even facing uncertainty and economic challenges, small businesses can grow and succeed, said Thomas J. Donohue, U.S. Chamber president and CEO. They are America's economic engine, driving growth and job creation all across this country.
The Blue Ribbon Small Business Award, sponsored by Sam's Club , is designed to recognize businesses that demonstrate excellent business practices in several areas, including business strategy, employee development, community involvement and customer service.
All award winners will be recognized at America' s Small Business Summit, April 29 - May 1, 2013. Seven of these recipients will be chosen as regional finalists, announced on February 15, and one will be named the DREAM BIG Small Business of the Year during America's Small Business Summit. The winner will be presented with a $10,000 cash prize courtesy of Sam's Club.
