SAN FRANCISCO, CA, February 16, 2013 (Press-News.org) Opening its doors to the small-busted public in January 2005, Lula Lu Lingerie in San Mateo, CA is the first store of its kind in the United States and Canada to specialize in lingerie for petite women. Launching online at www.lulalu.com two months prior to the store's completion, Lula Lu Lingerie caters to smaller-busted women of all heights and sizes by offering a wide selection of great fitting bras, panties, lingerie and sleepwear.

Owner Ellen Shing, a petite woman herself with a 36A bra size, was once frustrated in her search to find a perfect fitting, fashion forward bra. After hopelessly sifting through rack after rack of bras in lingerie departments, Shing decided to become her own resource and create her own racks of petite lingerie. In addition, Shing offers a highly personalized bra fitting service as well as her expert advice and insights with her customers. In fact, it's Shing's own customers that product-test the pieces sold in her store to ensure quality and fit.

It only took Ellen Shing one year of research and design development to open her store in San Mateo. Throughout that one year she worked closely with factories and pattern makers, and began to study the anatomy of the ideal petite bra. What Shing also realized was creating lingerie was not as easy as she thought. In fact, bras are considered one of the most complicated pieces of clothing to make; each bra has 20-30 different components and requires 25 different people in the production process. After many trial and errors and testing on small-chested customers, Shing created her own collection of petite lingerie, Lula Lu Petites.

The collection offers sizes 30AA to 38AA, and carries comfortable and fashionable lingerie that not only fits the petite figure but is flattering as well. Lula Lu is also the first in the North American market to develop the AAA cup size bras, starting at size 32AAA to 36AAA. The collection comes in all styles ranging from the basic t-shirt bra to lacey bras and bralettes, as well as sexy panties, thongs and corsets. The collection ranges in price $46-$90 for bras and corsets and $26-$30 for bottoms.
