Value Averaging Backtesting Analysis Reports Now Available

VA Investment Software releases updated research reports based on the Value Averaging Investment strategy.

2013-02-19
MILTON, ON, February 19, 2013 (Press-News.org) VA Investment Software would like to announce that it has released 6 Value Averaging (VA) back testing analysis reports. The reports show how an investor would have done by investing using VA compared to dollar cost averaging or investing a lump sum over the last 5 years.

The results of the reports shows that VA definitely offers investors a better alternative to other stock market investment methods with less risk. VA helps investors to invest in 2 ways: 1. by helping investors invest a lump sum of capital over time and 2. by helping investors accumulate a target amount of capital within a specific time period.

Bruce Ramsey, principal and founder, says that "I continue to be amazed at how well VA works when applied to a large cross section equity securities. In over 90% of the time, VA outperforms the other methods, however the key to making it work is by sticking to the strategy especially in times of market volatility because that's when it works best".

Copies of the reports in addition to sample model portfolios can be downloaded at: http://www.vainvestmentsoftware.com.

The Value Averaging investment strategy is based on the research conducted by former Harvard university professor Dr. Michael Edleson, VA Investment Software is developing software that would allow investors to apply the VA strategy to their own investment portfolios. The Value Averaging software technology is available for licensing to brokerage firms and mutual fund companies who would like to offer a Value Averaging Investment Program to their clients.
