myASDF Teams With ONCORE to Promote Autism Awareness Campaign

Contributors Can Volunteer and Raise Funds Online to Benefit Children and Families Living With Autism

2013-02-22
SCHEREVILLE, IN, February 22, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation (www.myASDF.org) is pleased to announce its collaboration with ONCORE, an online fundraising platform, to launch its Autism Awareness Campaign. myASDF is a national nonprofit organization that provides information, education, and financial assistance to community organizations and families of children with autism spectrum disorders.

Developed by eleventy marketing group, ONCORE is an online tool for raising donations that allows customers and donors to make connections and interact with friends, family members, and associates on behalf of nonprofit organizations. myASDF has created the Autism Awareness Campaign so supporters can become a volunteer or give donations online, and then share information about the campaign with others through the integration of email, personalized web pages, and social media.

With autism now impacting the lives of 1 in 88 children, it's more important than ever to get involved and help raise money to enable thousands of autistic children to participate in the numerous programs funded by myASDF, including summer camps, swim programs, film programs, holiday gift card programs, iPAD programs, and even equine therapy. Whether it's becoming a volunteer to encourage early detection and intervention, or making a small donation to help provide the crucial financial support for these programs, everyone can make a huge difference in the lives of children living with autism.

"ONCORE allows people to visit their site and not only donate, but become a fundraiser for myASDF," said a representative from eleventy marketing group. "They can set up their personal website and promote it on their Facebook page and Twitter account, and can import their family and friends' email addresses and fundraise that way as well."

Online volunteers can help myASDF through the creation of a personalized web page to spread awareness about autism spectrum disorders, which can then be shared with others in order to promote the campaign. Donations to the campaign can also be made through the ONCORE platform, and will allow myASDF to offer financial assistance to children and families affected by autism so they can pay for therapy, medication, equipment, and other needs, provide hundreds of camp scholarships, and distribute autism awareness information to more than 500,000 mothers in all 50 states.

"We're very excited about our Autism Awareness Campaign and the opportunities it will create for myASDF's programs to spread throughout the country and benefit even more children than we are supporting today," said Michael Slutsky, executive director of myASDF. "We look forward to working with eleventy marketing group and their innovative ONCORE program to not only increase financial donations, but also to spread awareness about autism spectrum disorders to a much broader audience."
