AsiaRooms.com - Be In for a Scare at Malaysia's First Zombie Attack in Kuala Lumpur

The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre will host a production entitled Malaysia's First Zombie Attack next month.

2010-10-23
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, October 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) Travellers staying in Kuala Lumpur towards the end of next month should be prepared for a fright if they check out Malaysia's First Zombie Attack.

This production will be on display at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre from November 24th to 28th 2010, starring local talent such as Redza Minhat, Sandee Chew, Ashraf Zain and Shamaine Othman.

People staying in Kuala Lumpur hotels who brave one of the showings will be told the story of Shima Mat Jidin, who was singing at a karaoke bar when smoke began streaming from her hair.

She started coughing uncontrollably and transformed into a zombie, the production's writers explained.

Although this is a work of fiction, they commented: "Nothing is certain at the moment apart from the fact that the zombies are coming to get you. We kid you not."

Tickets for this scary work of performance art are available for 35 Malaysian ringgits (GBP7), although concessionary passes have also been released, priced at 23 Malaysian ringgits.

The curtains will rise at 20:30 local time each day, with 15:00 matinee performances taking place on November 27th and 28th.

Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre is located in Sentul West and used to be a railway depot and a golf clubhouse.

For more information on this event, visit the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre website or contact the venue on (+60) 3 4047 9010.
