All Minnesota residential building contractors, remodelers and roofers must complete 14 hours of continued education during every two year licensing cycle, with at least one hour of energy code included in the education. The renewal cycle for all licensees has been split in half, meaning that half will renew March 31, 2013 and the other half March 31, 2014.
