2010-10-23
RALEIGH, NC, October 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) Each month people, businesses, and non-profits, with ideas that positively impact their community, submit a plan to the Pepsi Refresh Project. The public then votes on the accepted submissions throughout the month. The plans with the most votes will receive grants in the amount of $5,000, $25,000, $50,000 or $250,000.

Morrisville, NC realtor Paulina Bohorquez of Sustainable Legacy Properties, a division of Paulina Real Estate Team, Inc., is looking to be awarded one of two $250,000 grants in order to clean up parks and neighborhoods in Wake County and the Greater Raleigh area in North Carolina.

"This specific project consists of sustainably renovating one home and sprucing up a nearby park for the residents, especially the children in the community. It's important to have a nice, safe and green space for people to gather and kids to play in," said Paulina.

Paulina went on to say, "We invite everyone to join us in helping revitalize our community by voting daily through October at http://www.RefreshEverything.com/PaulinaSustainableLegacyProperties or text 10337 to PEPSI (73774). One vote per day per person is all it takes. I hope you will share this link on Facebook, LinkedIn, Inside919 and your other social media platforms and proudly declare your vote and ask your friends and family members to vote as well. One vote daily from you and your circle of friends will assist Sustainable Legacy Properties in helping improve the look and feel of our neighborhoods."
