Stonewood Holdings names Geoffrey Stiles president and CEO
Will lead company through 'evolution' of its brand
JACKSONVILLE, FL, October 23, 2010
After serving as the company's chief operating officer since April, Geoffrey D.K. Stiles is now chief executive officer of Stonewood Holdings LLC, owners of Stonewood Grill & Tavern and Peach Valley Cafe.Effective Oct. 14, Stiles will serve as president and CEO of the restaurant holding company, which operates 16 locations of Stonewood Grill & Tavern, in Florida and one in Cary, N.C. Stiles will also lead Peach Valley Cafe, which has four locations in Florida.
"I am humbled by the trust and faith placed in me by the Stonewood Holdings board of directors, and together, we will build on the foundation the company has developed during the past decade," Stiles said. "We have a great team that is committed to moving the brand forward and enhancing the Stonewood experience for our guests."
Stiles joined Stonewood Holdings after serving eight years as president and COO of Orlando, Fla.-based Ruth's Chris Steak House, a publicly traded fine dining company with more than 130 restaurants worldwide.
"In this new position, Geoff will implement the strategic goals and objectives of the organization, enable the board to fulfill its governance function and provide leadership toward the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission, strategy and its annual goals and objectives," said W. Timothy Curtis, chairman of the Stonewood Holdings board of directors.
