IMS Communications Seminar That Inspires Action and Gets Results

Communications expert Ron Crossland teaches the art of persuasion, negotiation and inspiration for all situations.

2013-03-01
LOS ANGELES, CA, March 01, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Institute for Management Studies (IMS), a leading organization in executive leadership and management development, will be holding a full-day seminar titled "The Leader's Voice: Communication That Inspires Action and Gets Results," on Thursday, March 7th, in Los Angeles, California. The seminar will take place at The Double Tree Hotel, 120 S Los Angeles Street, starting at 9:00 AM.

IMS may be a familiar name in executive management seminars. Four weeks prior, on February 5th, they held a seminar on "Mentoring". The March workshop is designed for individuals who want to advance their communication skills beyond presentation or platform skills. It is useful for any person in a communication rich job role. Based on research over the past fifty years, some of it original to the author, it demonstrates how the best communicators inform, persuade, negotiate, inspire, coach, discuss, or debate across all communication situations - small group, large group, one-on-one, email, internal messages, or external messages.

Speaking at The Leader's Voice seminar will be Mr. Ron Crossland. Mr. Crossland offers over 20 years of consulting and education experience. In 2011 OSU's Spears School of Business recognized him as one of the top fifty MBA graduates of its fifty-year history. Co-author of The Leader's Voice: How Your Communication Can Inspire Action and Get Results! (New York: SelectBooks, 2002), the book has received praise from The Harvard Communication Newsletter, Amazon's "top ten reviewer's" Robert Morris, and the Business Book Review.

Registration for this and future IMS sessions is limited to sponsoring organizations. To learn more about The Leader's Voice seminar or to see if your organization is eligible for registration, visit the Institute for Management Studies Website at: http://www.imsla.net
