Upper Case Design & Printing Celebrate 25 Years in Business

Cork-based design & printing company Upper Case have recently celebrated 25 years in business.

CORK, IRELAND, March 06, 2013 (Press-News.org) Cork-based design & printing company Upper Case have recently celebrated 25 years in business. Upper Case was originally founded as a typesetting and scanning bureau servicing the advertising, marketing and print sectors in 1988. In 1998 they evolved to become the first digital design/print bureau outside Dublin.

The business expanded rapidly and in 2000 they invested EUR300,000 for its first digital production press. One year later they won their first Irish Print award for best digital print.

Upper Case is Ireland's most decorated digital print agency, with 6 award wins across 3 categories (digital print, large format print, direct mail) and a total of 15 nominations since 2001.

In 2002 they added a dedicated design studio specialising in graphic design for digital print applications in addition to online design and marketing.

One year later in 2003, they expanded further by adding large format digital printing facilities for exhibition and display, and investing in CD/DVD printing & duplication technology.

Upper Case developed their one-stop-shop design/print/marketing service model in 2004 which has been hugely effective since.

In 2009 Company MD Ivan Lavelle was awarded the Xerox agency manager of the year award.
This was a year before they moved to new offices in City Gate, Cork's most high-profile office development and the location for McAfee, Dell, HIQUA, VHI, Mater Private.

In 2013 Upper Case continue to grow having recently completed the design and development of their new website. They work with a wide range of high profile clients including UCC, CIT, PepsiCo, PM Group, Cork County Council, Newsweaver, Minelab and The Hope Foundation.
