2013-03-06
TAMPA, FL, March 06, 2013 (Press-News.org) For years EMS has traveled around the world 3D scanning all types of objects including ancient ruins, airplanes, tanks, boats, automobiles, accident scenes, amusement park attractions, helicopters and much more. For many of these projects EMS requires the use of numerous 3D scanners and related equipment such as generators, jib arms, counterweights, weather tents, scanning accessories, safety equipment and more.

EMS recently replaced its existing van with a new state of art mobile 3D scanning lab. The new lab includes a 6'2" tall ceiling with plenty of storage space, electrical outlets and a work station area. According to President Mark Kemper, "our new mobile 3D scanning lab allows us to bring our 3D scanning equipment to any on-site scanning project and get the job done faster and more efficiently. By providing our own power, work area to process scan data out of the weather and numerous pieces of 3D scanning equipment and accessories we are at a real competitive advantage."

EMS's new mobile scanning lab will be on display at the Design & Mfg Show in Orlando, March 6th & 7TH as well their upcoming 3D Tech Days road show in April. If you are attending any one of these events stop by and see the lab for yourself.
