PHOENIX, AZ, March 08, 2013 (Press-News.org) Arizona crime victim attorney, Sara J. Powell will speak at the upcoming "Justice for Crime Victims" seminar Friday, March 15, 2013. The seminar will be conducted from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (MST) at the Sierra Vista Police Department, 911 North Coronado Drive, Sierra Vista, Arizona.
The event will focus on victim rights in criminal prosecutions and compensation through civil remedies. Interested participants may attend the seminar at no charge.
During her speech, Sara Powell will address the rights and remedies of crime victims. She'll talk about ways to hold perpetrators responsible, both criminally and financially.
Practicing law since 1979, Sara Powell devotes her practice to obtaining compensation for crime victims of drunk drivers, shootings, rape and child abuse. She is a charter member of the National Crime Victim Bar Association.
