Founded by Luke Bonner and his brother Matt Bonner, of the San Antonio Spurs, the organization serves to enrich the quality of life in communities by supporting athletic, artistic, and scholastic initiatives. Rock On is creating scholarships to reward high school graduates who demonstrate a passion for athletic and artistic pursuits. The "Sneakers & Speakers" charity event will take place during the week of "South by Southwest," on March 13th. Always an integrated part of its Austin roots, Sweet Leaf Tea is continuing its commitment to the city by participating and will be featured in signature cocktails for the event.
The event will offer special performances from bands, such as "Oh No Oh My," "Feathers," "Dallas Green," "The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band," "Chuck Inglish," and "Stak5" (A.K.A. Stephen Jackson of the San Antonio Spurs). Various members of the San Antonio Spurs are expected to be in attendance to show support for their teammate. Sweet Leaf Tea will provide select premium organic, all-natural black and green teas as refreshments. Flavors include The Original Sweet Tea, Raspberry Iced Tea, Mint & Honey Green Tea and many more.
