CLEARWATER, FL, March 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) Reality Church will provide volunteers and monetary donations to Current of Tampa Bay, Inc. to help wash the clothes of those less fortunate. The Laundry Project will be held on Saturday, March 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fresh Start Coin Laundry at 2922 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33670.
This is the first time Current will hold a Laundry Project in the Clearwater area. Reality Church is the fundraising sponsor for this Laundry Project and will provide most of the volunteers; together they have raised $400 for this project.
"We are really excited about expanding the Laundry Project to the Clearwater area," said Current's Founder and President Jason Sowell. "Our ambition is to reach as many struggling families in the entire Bay area as possible. With this new project location we are one step closer to fulfilling that dream".
The Laundry Project is still in need of $300 to reach their fundraising goal for Saturday's project. Donations of quarters (rolls of $10), coloring books, crayons, laundry baskets and laundry detergent are always needed and appreciated. Donations can be brought to the event on the morning of March 9's project or contact Jason Sowell at 727.537.9082.
