Andelcare ranks number 91 on the "100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies" list released by the Puget Sound Business Journal

At an awards event at Meydenbauer Center on Oct. 13th, the Puget Sound Business Journal announced that Andelcare ranked number 91 on the list of 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

2010-10-24
BELLEVUE, WA, October 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Fastest-Growing Private Companies program was launched 16 years ago by the Puget Sound Business Journal to identify and recognize companies speeding to the top of their industries. To be eligible, companies must: be privately held and headquartered in Washington; have at least $500,000 in net revenue in 2007; show an overall growth from 2007 to 2009 fiscal years; and agree to have their CPA confirm their net operating revenues with Puget Sound Business Journal.

"The companies that make this list are, by definition, among the most dynamic in our region," said Business Journal Publisher Emory Thomas Jr. "Especially this year, they have beaten the odds imposed by the Great Recession, making membership on this elite list all the more impressive. These companies are showing all of us what qualities it takes to grow in challenging times."

Throughout the communities of the Puget Sound Region of the Pacific Northwest, Andelcare provides in-home care for aging adults, enabling them to stay independent and in their own homes. Andelcare puts the needs of clients first by carefully screening and matching caregivers to the needs of each individual. Andelcare is an award-winning company that is recognized for its community outreach and corporate philanthropy.

"We live in a great community that provides opportunity and supports entrepreneurialism. My staff and I are honored to be recognized as a growing company in the Puget Sound Region," states Marla Beck, President and founder of Andelcare. "Being successful allows us to fulfill our mission to be caregivers, to create employment and to give service back to the community."

The 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies program is presented by the Puget Sound Business Journal and sponsored by Chase, Lane Powell, Robert Half International, and Sound Mental Health.

About Andelcare

Since its launch in 2003, Andelcare has become the premier regional provider of in-home eldercare and a most-trusted "go-to resource" for solutions to eldercare issues. Andelcare is an award-winning company serving Seattle, Bellevue and the neighboring Puget Sound communities.

Homecare is both personalized and affordable. By providing companionship, homemaking, personal care and nursing services, Andelcare enriches the lives of aging-adults by preserving the comfort, independence, and security of their homes - wherever they may be.

Andelcare is resourceful - large enough to provide excellence in homecare and small enough to provide the personal touch need - from as little as one-hour a day to 24-hour live-in care. Andelcare is "on-call" 24/7.

Andelcare is unique in the eldercare industry because caregivers are carefully matched with the distinctive needs and personalities of each client. Caregivers must meet stringent qualifications, take insightful personality profile tests, pass drug tests and national background checks, and participate in training for Home Care Aide certification. Families and aging-adults look to Andelcare to be their trusted advisors - to create stable and secure home environments for persons in need.

Puget Sound Business Journal is the region's premier source of business information, serving an unparalleled audience of business and community leaders. In addition to the weekly newspaper, the Business Journal provides daily updates via its web site and email alerts. The company also plays a vital role in bringing the area's leadership community together by hosting a wide variety of events throughout the year, from the Women of Influence awards event to the Washington's Best Workplaces event at Safeco Field.
