Sherlock's to Host St. Baldrick's Event on March 16th

ST. PETERS, MO, March 13, 2013 (Press-News.org) The search goes on to cure childhood cancer (http://www.stbaldricks.org/). Please join Sherlock's Steak and Seafood and the St. Baldrick's Foundation in the fight against childhood cancer.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation, a volunteer-driven charity dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research.

Why all the shaved heads? Worldwide, more than 175,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, and it remains the leading cause of death by disease among children in the United States. With only 4 percent of all federal cancer research funding dedicated to pediatric cancer (http://www.stbaldricks.org/where-the-money-goes/grants/) research, St. Baldrick's Foundation grant funds are critical to continue the battle against this devastating disease.
