RALEIGH, NC, March 14, 2013 (Press-News.org) Mims Distributing Company (http://www.mimsdistributing.com), a beer distributor servicing a nine-county area in and around the Triangle, has announced it will be a slapshot sponsor for the Carolina Hurricanes' Kids 'N Community Foundation 8th Annual Casino Night and Wine Tasting on Friday, March 22 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at PNC Arena, located at 1400 Edwards Mill Rd. The event is the Carolina Hurricanes' signature fundraiser for the Kids 'N Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization motivated towards meeting the health and educational needs of underserved youth in the community through programming and financial assistance to local children's organizations.
This year's event will include wine tastings stations from local wine vendors, non-cash prize casino games, a full-service food buffet, an open bar, and a silent and live auction. Mims Distributing Company is donating a selection of different beers and an assortment of raffle items for attendees.
