EDISON, NJ, March 14, 2013 (Press-News.org) Kenny Woods, the COO of Vaporstream Inc., a Secure Recordless Messaging Service (SRMS) provider that offers private and secure messaging channels for business communications, joins Dawson Horn III, an experienced attorney with both an in-house and law firm background, in a discussion hosted by ARMA Northern New Jersey on March 13. The panel, entitled "Protecting Privacy When Sharing Sensitive Records," will take place at Daiichi Sankyo in Edison.
Woods and Horn will discuss the importance of a secure digital platform when sharing sensitive information, and the need for industries ranging from healthcare to finance to update protocols surrounding the transmission of sensitive information.
"People believe that using complex passwords, encryption keys or 'self-destructing' messages can keep their information secure, but that simply is not true." said Jason Howe, CEO of Vaporstream. "We aim to show the need for truly recordless messaging in the business world and in all situations in which potentially private information is digitally shared."
As the only truly recordless digital communication platform in the world, Vaporstream helps protect businesses and investors from the $80 billion a year problem caused by security breaches, user errors and communications taken out of context.
"With his background in the legal system, Horn is an ideal messenger for secure communications," added Howe. "He knows from experience how delicate important communications can be."
Kenny Woods is responsible for directing Vaporstream's strategic and operational leadership. He is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of experience building and managing enterprise software sales, marketing and operations at multiple organizations. His experience includes work in emerging markets and new technologies with particular emphasis in the areas of email delivery, storage and archiving, records compliance management solutions (supporting Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA, among others) and data storage management solutions, health system throughput and process automation and contract lifecycle management solutions. He has expertise in the life sciences, financial services, healthcare, telecommunications and government sectors.
Dawson Horn III is an experienced attorney with both an in-house and law firm background. Broadly, his expertise lies in complex commercial litigation, insurance and products liability. Most recently, Horn was Senior Litigation Counsel with Tyco International where he managed a complex litigation docket, a large toxic tort docket and an insurance recovery docket. In addition to his litigation experience, Horn also has a substantial transactional background, having been procurement counsel at Scott Paper Company and Campbell Soup Company, as well as having led corporate transactions for United Auto Group and Danone.
