DENVER, CO, October 26, 2010 (Press-News.org) GoSmart Technologies announced today that it has finished installation of electric vehicle charging equipment under an agreement with a confidential Fortune 500 company. These charging solutions are for a new data center being constructed in North Carolina. This project is being designed and built to receive an unprecedented Platinum LEED Certification.
ChargeSPOT is a networked electric vehicle charging unit that complies with all industry standards for electric vehicle charging. The heart of ChargeSPOT is a Linux-based single board computer (SBC). This processing unit will provide all the necessary sensor inputs and run custom software to control the flow of electricity within the charging station. Users will be able to communicate with this unit through a web-based interface that will collect and analyze data that is associated with charging an electric vehicle. This allows a user to make key decisions in deciding energy usage and calculating emissions reduction.
Brian Smith, the CEO of GoSmart Technologies, stated: "We are extremely proud to have the opportunity of being part of a Platinum LEED Certified project. It shows the dedication from these companies and the mindset of changing our future. This project will support the widening electric car market in the Southeast, and allows the client to reap the benefits of low-cost, environmentally friendly charging technologies at their new facilities."
GoSmart Technologies, located in Denver, CO, designs and builds electric vehicle charging stations for public and private use. Accessible charging is critical to the successful roll-out of the plug-in electric vehicle. With the multiple products GoSmart offers, when and where owners can charge their vehicles provides many options for these electric vehicle owners. The song of the zebra finch is very stereotypic; each song lasts about 1 second, and consists of multiple syllables whose timing is almost precisely the same from one performance to the next. "It's a great model system for studying how the brain ...
