TAMPA, FL, March 22, 2013 (Press-News.org) Golfer's Grail Indoor Golf & Tap and Bentley Yoga Golf have partnered to offer a new Yoga Golf program to Tampa Bay area golf enthusiasts. Yoga Golf will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 2-25, starting at 9:30 a.m. at Golfer's Grail. The initial class on April 2 will begin 30 minutes early for metric evaluations.
The Yoga Golf series is based on an international golf conditioning program, Yoga for Golfers. Yoga for Golfers was created by Golf Fitness Expert and Nike Swoosh Athlete, Katherine Roberts, and aims to improve a golfer's game. The four-week series of classes will be taught by Beth Bentley, Tampa's only certified Yoga for Golfers instructor and owner of Bentley Yoga Golf.
"Golfers want the lowest score and best golf experience possible. We are excited to partner with Bentley Yoga Golf to offer this unique program to people who want to advance their game," said Jeff Sproat, owner of Golfer's Grail.
The class helps golfers learn and practice a series of yoga poses specifically designed to improve their golf game by maximizing mind-body performance, experiencing greater distance and accuracy, strengthening core muscles to help prevent back injuries and increase overall flexibility, balance, strength and focus.
"We are thrilled to have a new home at Golfer's Grail," said Bentley. "This is the perfect fit. Yoga helps physically and mentally with everyday life, and it also teaches golfers how to improve their range of motion, which can increase up to 40 percent. That means a big difference in someone's golf game!"
This April Yoga Golf series is $120 or $15 per class if registered by March 29. After March 29th, it will be $160 for the series or $20 per class. Single classes are $20 if there are openings available. Classes will be limited to 24 participants.
Registration is available at http://www.bentleyyoga.com/register. Golfer's Grail is located at 10019 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa, in the Carrollwood Center next to Publix. More information about the Yoga Golf series can be found at http://www.GolfersGrail.net or http://www.bentleyyogagolf.com.
