DOWNEY, CA, March 25, 2013 (Press-News.org) Out of the 1,000 Honda dealerships that competed, Honda World Downey was one of the 112 that received the award. These awards are presented annually to the top-ranking Honda dealerships that achieved excellence in the following areas: customer service, sales, training, facility and sales satisfaction. This will be the 5th year that Honda World Downey in the Los Angeles area receives the award.
Every dealership that won in 2012 was compliant with Honda's standards. Honda provides each winning dealership with a distinguished trophy and other showroom embellishments to herald their accomplishments. The goal of the President's Award, according to executive vice president John Mendel, is to challenge each dealer to continually grow and set the standard for which other companies aspire.
"The President's Award is truly a reflection of the dedication and hard work put forth by each and every member of our team. Honda World Downey is honored to be recognized for putting customers first in every aspect of our dealership. We've always known we have an incredible team, and now others know it as well," said Jeffrey Hodge, President of Honda World Downey
LA Honda World carries a full line of Honda vehicles, including the all-new 2013 Accord, rated one of Car and Driver magazine's 10 Best for a record 27 times.

Researchers identify genetic sequence that helps to coordinate synthesis of DNA-packaging proteins
2013-03-24
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Every time a cell divides it makes a carbon copy of crucial ingredients, including the histone proteins that are responsible for spooling yards of DNA into tight little coils. When these spool-like proteins aren't made correctly, it can result in the genomic instability characteristic of most birth defects and cancers.
Seven years ago, Dr. Joe Gall of the Carnegie Institute in Baltimore, Md. and coworkers noticed an aggregation of molecules along a a block of genome that codes for the critical histones, but they had no idea how this aggregate or "histone ...

Recently, the state legislature in Utah began considering a proposal to change child custody laws so that children would be given more of a voice as ...

Legislators and pundits across the country have repeatedly drawn a causal link between the presence of immigrants - whether illegal or not - and an increase in crime.
