Plustek D430 Scanner Increases Efficiency of Physician Offices and Pharmacies

The scanner's compact design and horizontal paper feeding method, enables the scanner to fit on the desktop, below the transaction counter of a typical reception station.

The typical document scanner with Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) is taller than 15" when loaded with paper. The typical transaction counter of a reception station is approximately 14" from the desktop making difficult, if not impossible, to load paper when the ADF scanner is placed under the transaction counter overhang. The Plustek D430 can be placed against the wall of the reception station and is only 2.5" tall so it easily fits under all transaction counter overhangs. It scans both sides of a document or ID card in about 2.5 seconds.
