The 2013 Best Practices Conference is excited to have Mark Rackley of Summit 7 Systems and Jim Bob Howard of Planet Technologies present on best practices for when to use client-side development vs. server-side development processes.

2013-03-28
MAPLE GROVE, MN, March 28, 2013 (Press-News.org) Mindsharp, a SharePoint Training company, will be hosting the 2013 Best Practices Conference. This SharePoint Conference is unique because it is the only peer-sharing conference for business leaders and stakeholders. There will be over 30 speakers from well-known profit and non-profit organizations, including Mark Rackley of Summit 7 Systems and Jim Bob Howard of Planet Technologies. Mark has been developing software applications for over 17 years and currently works for Summit 7 Systems as a Solutions Architect. He makes key SharePoint architecture and development decisions and brings the appropriate SharePoint best practices to his clients and customers. Jim Bob has over 18 years of experience in software development and website management. He currently works for Planet Technologies and also donates his time by writing technical "how-to" articles at NothingButSharePoint.com and speaking at SharePoint conferences, user groups, and SharePoint Saturdays.

Their session topic is entitled "When to Use Client-side Development with SharePoint." They will stress the importance of knowing when one should and shouldn't develop the SharePoint application on the client-side. Real-world examples of custom client interfaces, dashboards, reporting, Gantt charts, process flows, and advanced application development in SharePoint will be used to show the robust capabilities and rapid prototyping and deployment of client-side solutions. A balanced view of when to go server-side, client-side, or when to combine them will be presented.

Date: May 17, 2013, 9:30AM-10:30AM

Location: Rush Creek Golf Course, Maple Grove, MN
