SANTA ANA, CA, March 28, 2013 (Press-News.org) IOMIC USA, manufacturer of innovative, revolutionary and dynamically designed grips, announced today that the winner of the Web.com Louisiana Open used IOMIC grips. In addition, three top-10 finishers at the PGA Arnold Palmer Invitational and four top-10 finishers at the LPGA Kia classic all used IOMIC grips.
"We are pleased that IOMIC was well represented on all the U.S. Tours this past week," stated Katz Murai, Overseas Division of IOMIC, "Our grips provide great feel and control which is especially helpful in challenging conditions such as those experienced at the Louisiana Open and Arnold Palmer Invitational. The Louisiana Open is the eighth time our grips have been used by the winner of a tour event in 2013 and we congratulate the winner on his second career victory."
The winner of the Louisiana Open needed steady hands and complete confidence in all of his equipment to battle the strong winds during the final round of play. He relied on his IOMIC Sticky 1.8 grips to maintain control and minimize torque on every swing.
Two of the top-10 finishers at the Arnold Palmer Invitational used IOMIC Putter Grips while the other top-10 finisher used Sticky 1.8 grips. The LPGA top-10 finishers used IOMIC grips in a variety of colors. Karrie Webb, who finished T6, used her new, brightly colored yellow and green Sticky 2.3 grips that honor her home country of Australia. Another top-ten finisher opted for a new lavender Absolute X Putter Grip. Two other top-10 finishers used the Sticky 1.8 grips, with one using pink grips and the other using blue grips.
IOMIC Sticky grips are incredibly soft, and feature great traction and low torque. These versatile grips are suitable for all playing styles, from beginners to top ranked tour professionals. The Sticky 2.3 is the standard size grip in the Sticky series while the Sticky 1.8 is slightly smaller. Both are available in a wide variety of colors.
The new IOMIC Absolute X Putter Grip features a classic design with a new textured surface that reduces grip pressure and improves traction. This grip inspires confidence during every putting stroke. It is available in mid-size only and comes in a wide variety of bold colors.
All IOMIC grips feature the revolutionary "IOMAX" technology, a proprietary compound that provides a soft feel with control. This material provides adhesiveness, is water and friction resistant and is naturally white in color which allows for a full spectrum of color - IOMIC's signature trait.
