CHICAGO, IL, March 28, 2013

The 2013 Masters Golf Tournament is only a few weeks away. The Tournament's practice rounds begin on Monday, April 8, and the tournament concludes on Sunday, April 14. Businesses in Augusta, Georgia are preparing to welcome and impress players and fans that will be in the area for the event. One of the hotspots for food and seafood lovers is Rhinehart's Oyster Bar.

Rhinehart's is known for their oyster po' boy sandwich and high quality seafood made from scratch. When asked why visiting their restaurant is a must when in Augusta, co-owner Amy Bailey said "Rhinehart's is a must because you cannot get our flavor, food quality, and atmosphere anywhere else in the world." Bailey shared with me that they have recently added scallops to the menu and they have quickly turned into a new favorite.

Over 2,000 patrons are expected at both the Augusta and Evans locations each day during the week of The Masters.

The restaurant is a favorite of locals and golf pros. Bailey stated, "We've been feeding most of these guys and their caddies on the tour since before they went pro. They always come to Rhinehart's at least once while they are here, to them, it's like coming home."

One of the most beloved and fan favorite traditions during Masters week is the Par 3 Contest held on the Wednesday of the event, this year on April 10. Each of the last two years the winner of the Par 3 Contest has made an appearance at Rhinehart's and has signed autographs for fans. This year's party after the Contest will be held in Evans, Ga, which is sure to draw an even larger crowd than usual to the location in Evans.

The 2013 Masters is one of the most anticipated golf tournaments in recent history and tickets sold out quickly, but many fans even without a ticket will make the trip to Augusta for the atmosphere, excitement, and for the food. If going to Augusta for the 77th edition of The Masters, make sure to visit Rhinehart's Oyster Bar.
