Fairfield Harbour Garden Club Hosts 2013 Annual Perennial Sale Monday, April 8

Local Boating And Golf Community's Garden Club Holds Plant Sale To Benefit Beautification Project

NEW BERN, NC, March 29, 2013 (Press-News.org) Fairfield Harbour (http://www.fhpoa.com), a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, has announced that the community's garden club will host its annual perennial sale Monday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the community center parking lot, located at 585 Broad Creek Road. With the spring season officially underway, the annual perennial sale provides the Fairfield Harbour community and its neighbors with the opportunity to share and sell their plants by bringing potted plants from their gardens to be sold at the event. All proceeds from the sale will be used toward a future Fairfield Harbour beautification project.

Potted plants to be sold at the event will include canna lilies, ginger lilies, Shasta daisies, calla lilies, irises, astilbes, hostas, black-eyed Susans, day lilies, gaillardias and chrysanthemums. In addition, several grasses and ground covers will be sold, including muhly grass, switch grass, fountain grass, maiden grass, liriope, mondo grass, ajuga and vinca.
