The new floorplan designs provide expansive, versatile spaces that respond to large and multi-generational families; to telecommuters and entrepreneurs seeking a home office; and to families welcoming extended-stay guests. Among Alicante's many upscale features and amenities are: an optional guest suite with coffee bar; a downstairs bedroom and bath; convenient drop zones from garage to living spaces; walk-in pantries and extra-large windows.

"These move-up homes accommodate the diverse and evolving lifestyles of today's families, and we are delighted to bring them to the family-focused community of Mountain House," said Michele Joy, Bay Area Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Standard Pacific Homes. Alicante is the most recent new home neighborhood to open in Questa, and the third by Standard Pacific Homes. It joins an array of new choices at Mountain House that will total of 10 design lines to consider in this popular East Bay community.

New neighborhoods on the horizon this spring and summer include Terrazzo by Lennar Homes and Santorini by Richmond American Homes. Acclaimed schools are part of the support system at Mountain House, with the latest underway Mountain House High School. It will incorporate programs and technologies for college-bound students, and include vocational education facilities, classrooms, administrative facilities, gym and cafeteria.

The high school will serve Mountain House students who are currently in the community's four village elementary schools. The newest of these is Sebastian Questa Elementary, which serves K-8 students throughout the village of Questa. Also see www.lammersvilleschooldistrict.net.

Homeowners at Mountain House have many good things to say about their community and its excellent schools, abundant recreation and inclusive community dynamic. "The people who make Mountain House their home share the commitment of making this a great place for everyone to live, and it shows."

Mountain House has four villages, five parks, three high-ranking K-8 schools, a library and the upcoming Mountain House High School. At completion, the community will include 10 villages, additional K-8 schools and a Town Center with shopping, entertainment, and dining.
