On April 5, 2013, the focus was on 'Empowering a Healthy Community'- the future of health lies in the hands of those packed with the resources, and opportunities to make lasting change.

This year's NPHW theme—"Public Health is ROI: Save Lives, Save Money"—promotes the value of prevention and the importance of well-supported public health systems in preventing disease, saving lives and curbing health care spending. The chiropractic profession as a whole has promoted aspects of health and wellness, for more than 100 years.
