Timeshare Advertising Leader BuyATimeshare.com Provides Donation For Vacation For Breast Cancer Survivors

The global leader for timeshare owners looking to sell or rent timeshare teams up with Send Me On Vacation to support efforts for a much-needed vacation for women fighting breast cancer

2013-04-09
MERRIMACK, NH, April 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) Timeshare resale and rental advertising company BuyaTimeshare.com has made a $1,500 donation to nonprofit group Send Me On Vacation (SMOV), boosting the organization's plans to give a luxury vacation experience to those who need it most.

SMOV gives women who have endured treatment for breast cancer a chance to heal, rejuvenate and to celebrate life by providing them with an all-expense paid vacation, including a week's stay at a resort, airfare and debit/credit card vouchers for incidentals during their trip.

"We are proud to support Send Me On Vacation and their mission to help cancer survivors. Their vacations help patients and their families recover from the physical and emotional stress of treatments," explains Wesley Kogelman, president and CEO, BuyaTimeshare.com. "Some of these treatment programs can last for years and be exhausting for the women battling cancer, so we are helping support SMOV's vision that a vacation is the catalyst to restoring, renewing and rejuvenating the body, mind and spirit."

"It is only through the generosity of companies such as BuyaTimeshare.com that we are able to send these women on the vacations that they so desperately need," added Cathy Backus, Founder and President, Send Me On Vacation. "Our program is a mechanism for companies in our industry to give back to the community and what better way than for companies in the vacation industry to provide a vacation for someone needing a break from the rigors of cancer treatment."

This is the second year that BuyATimeshare.com has helped to support a vacation awarded by SMOV. The 501 (c)(3) charity provides more than just a getaway - it works with cancer centers throughout the United States and Mexico to educate, empower and give support to young woman before, during and after their diagnosis.

Timeshare owners or developers looking to help SMOV with a timeshare week to donate can participate in their vacation donation program, which lets owners donate their vacation week in exchange for a charitable tax credit.
