Bell Nunnally's Christopher Trowbridge Named to Texas Lawyer's "Legal Leaders on the Rise" List

Litigation partner one of 25 attorneys honored.

2013-04-11
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 11, 2013 (Press-News.org) Bell Nunnally Partner Christopher B. Trowbridge was recently named as one of 25 "Legal Leaders on the Rise" in the State of Texas by Texas Lawyer. This distinction recognizes attorneys under the age of 40, "whose accomplishments distinguish them among their peers."

"Chris' selection to this prestigious list is a testament to his hard work and dedication to his clients, the firm and the community," said James Skochdopole, managing partner of Bell Nunnally.

The "Legal Leaders on the Rise" list was published as a special supplement to the March 25 edition of Texas Lawyer. Editor in Chief Heather D. Nevitt, in a preface to the section noted that the publication received hundreds of nominations from across Texas. She, along with Texas Lawyer's editorial staff, ultimately selected only 25 individuals for this recognition.

Trowbridge counsels clients with complex business disputes and his litigation docket routinely includes intellectual property disputes, securities and broker-dealer matters, arbitrations and appeals nationwide. His clients range from Fortune 500 companies to privately held organizations.

In Trowbridge's "Legal Leaders on the Rise" profile, fellow Partner and firm Management Committee member Mikel J. Bowers had this to say about him, "Chris is annually one of our top-producing lawyers in the firm."

Noting Trowbridge's dedication to mentorship, marketing and business development, Bowers further offered, "He's dedicated to sitting down with younger lawyers and helping them prepare business plans and helping them create opportunities for developing their individual practices."

Trowbridge's profile also touched on his commitment to the community. It noted that he co-chaired the 2012 Billiard Ball for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, an event which raised funds for programs benefitting youth from low-income neighborhoods throughout Dallas. His service to the organization continues as he presently serves as vice-chairman of its board of directors and co-chairman of its Major Gifts Committee.

Trowbridge is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law (J.D., 1998) and Baylor University (B.B.A., 1995). Beyond this most recent recognition, he was profiled in 2012 as part of the Dallas Business Journal's annual "40 Under Forty" list and has been named a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers six times, including in 2013.
