DUBLIN, IRELAND October 28, 2010 (Press-News.org) Ireland's first online luxury shoes, bags and accessories boutique launches today at http://www.theluxuryemporium.ie. The new boutique gives Irish women the chance for the first time to buy luxury designer brands online from an Irish based company. The designers available at Theluxuryemporium.ie have been specifically chosen for the Irish buyer by founder and busy, professional mum, Lisa Carroll.

The new boutique offers luxury shoes, bags and accessories from designers including Philip Treacy, Pauric Sweeney, Guiseppe Zanotti, Lara Bohinc, Terry de Havilland and Rupert Sanderson. Theluxuryemporium.ie has secured a coup by signing Nicholas King jewellery to its brand portfolio, not available in any retail outlet in Ireland. From working with John Galliano and Donna Karen, Nicholas King founded his label in 2008 and is gaining increasing acclaim across Europe for his handcrafted resin bangles, as featured in London Fashion Week.

"With global online luxury stores, the sheer amount of products to choose from is vast. I am buying for Irish women to make good investments, stay current and on-trend but with an elegance and classicism that never goes out of style. While there are trends available, they are not disposable. We are always adding to our luxury brand portfolio with new designers and stock each month" says Lisa Carroll, founder of http://www.theluxuryemporium.ie.

With a quarter of Irish women buying online, a figure growing with increasing broadband provision, Lisa identified a gap in the market for an online high-end store. With luxury brands all moving towards online stores and the 10 year success of online fashion empire, net-a-porter.com, Lisa decided an online boutique was the right strategy for the Irish market. She also provides the added benefits of free Irish deliveries and returns.

"From personal experience, I know that Irish women are looking for an online boutique with fantastic luxury ranges. While there are other online luxury boutiques globally, there are none operating from an Irish base providing free Irish deliveries and returns" says Lisa.

Working longer hours, the number of Irish women indulging their passion for shopping online is increasing. Trends show that peak times for online shopping in the UK and Ireland are lunchtime and after 9 pm. Supporting Lisa's claims that women like her have the same passion for shopping but don't have the time to shop on the high street.

Having built up a very successful consultancy business over the past eight years, Lisa knows all about the shopping challenges of busy Irish women. A confessed "shoe-aholic" , Lisa's long-time dream was to establish a luxury shoes, bags and accessories boutique especially for Irish women. With buying trips to London, Paris and Milan over the past three months, meeting Giuseppe Zanotti en route, she sees her dream realised today with the launch of theluxuryemporium.ie.
