SAN MARCOS, CA, April 17, 2013 (Press-News.org) California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) is offering a number of courses in a wide range of fields and disciplines during Summer 2013. The term begins on June 1 and ends on August 10, with most courses held during one of the two five-week blocks. Open enrollment began April 6. Courses are available in a wide number of fields.
- Working toward your kinesiology degree? You can take courses in Stress Management, Motor Control and Learning, and the Care & Prevention of Athletic Injuries.
- Bachelor degree in business students can study Strategic Movement in Global Environments, Data Analysis, and more.
- Get started on your path to a biotechnology degree with introductory courses on cellular and molecular biology.
Summer courses taken at CSUSM are fully transferable to other academic institutions and are open to students from other colleges and universities, qualified high school seniors, and members of the community. Up to 24 undergraduate and nine graduate units taken as a non-matriculated student may be counted toward a CSUSM degree.
The summer term is a great time to enroll in classes. Whether you are looking to earn your degree more quickly, you want to catch up on classes you needed to drop or missed during the regular academic year, or you'd simply like to learn more in a particular field, CSUSM offers courses that will work for you.
CSUSM offers flexible options that fit into students' busy lives. Students can choose to take classes that meet in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings, or they can opt to take classes online. Classes are offered at the campuses in Temecula and Mt. San Jacinto, Menifee, as well as at the main campus in San Marcos.
