Richard Fortus Added to All Pro Science Team (03/18/13)

IRVINE, CA, April 17, 2013 (Press-News.org) All Pro Science, Inc. (APS) has announced that it has added its first entertainer, professional guitarist, Richard Fortus, its elite team of endorsers known as TEAM APS. Fortus joins an impressive group of athletes which include MLB All Stars Troy Tulowitski of the Colorado Rockies and Mike Napoli of the Boston Red Sox as well as MLS standouts, Michael Chabala of the Houston Dynamos and Bryan Gaul of the LA Galaxy. APS athletes are not paid endorsers of the product. The athletes themselves often approach the company in hopes of becoming part of its natural organic growth and lifestyle.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Fortus has grown up playing music. At age four he began playing the violin, then the drums a year later. He studied at the Conservatory of the Arts and Southern Illinois University.

Currently, Fortus plays rhythm and lead guitar for Guns N' Roses. Before joining the group Fortus had stints in numerous bands as well as his own solo projects. He has played for bands including Thin Lizzy, The Psychedlic Furs, and Love Spit Love.
Fortus is well-known and sought after throughout the music industry. He is renowned for being a great live and recording artist, and has done work on TV commercials, show themes, as well as the soundtracks to movies including Role Models and Surf Movie. He has also worked on popular video games such as Spider-Man 3 and 007 Quantam of Solace.

During his downtime from touring, Fortus continues to stay busy performing and recording with a long list of artists from all genres including, Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias and The Crystal Method.
