Gloria Larkin Presented a Two Part Free Webinar for the National Veteran Owned Business Association

A two part webinar on becoming procurement ready and federal contracting opportunities is now available to watch through the National Veteran Owned Business Association (NaVOBA) website.

2013-04-20
BALTIMORE, MD, April 20, 2013 (Press-News.org) The National Veteran Owned Business Association (NaVOBA) hosted a two part webinar, "Are You Procurement Ready?" presented by TargetGov President, Gloria Larkin. These webinars focused on how businesses can become procurement ready and provided an overall introduction to contracting with the Federal Government and are now available for immediate, on-demand viewing from http://www.navoba.com/article/webinars in the archive section.

Mrs. Larkin covered the changes in federal contracting, and how attendees could plan, position, pursue and win more contracts. The first part addressed the critical foundation: elements in which every business must be fully compliant and areas that many businesses are deficient. Attending part one of this webinar helped companies to set themselves apart from the competition in the federal marketplace.

Part two addressed the next steps required to see success in contracting by providing the methods businesses can use to get in front of the key decision makers who purchase or advocate for contracts. Mrs. Larkin also covered marketing, business development, mandatory and optional contract vehicles, tips for building relationships and crippling mistakes to avoid.

In addition to the presentation, free handouts are available including a Capability Statement Guide, a list of commonly used Federal Acronyms and a Bid/No Bid decision matrix for quickly identifying worthy opportunities to pursue.

These complimentary webinars allow businesses to take the necessary steps for seeing success in a volatile and competitive marketplace. Downloads are available at: http://www.navoba.com/article/webinars.
