Fairfield Harbour's Local Pizzeria Awarded Cleanest Business Of The Month

NEW BERN, NC, April 20, 2013 (Press-News.org) Fairfield Harbour (http://www.fhpoa.com), a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, has announced that the community's local pizzeria, Big Apple, was named "The Clean Business of the Month" for March by the Craven County Clean Sweep Committee, a program designed to eliminate littering and promote solid waste reduction within Craven County. Committed to serving its community, the pizzeria is sponsoring the Wounded Warriors Wednesday program as it celebrates this honor. This weekly promotion will donate a portion of Big Apple's sales to the Wounded Warriors Project, a nonprofit that provides programs and services to veterans that were physically or mentally injured on or after Sept. 11, 2001.
