Australian Spotlight- Newport Beach Film Festival

The Newport Beach Film Festival would like everyone to come out and support the Australian Spotlight on April 29th at the Lido Theater in Newport Beach at 7:30pm.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA, April 21, 2013 (Press-News.org) On Monday, April 29th 2013 the 14th annual Newport Beach Film Festival will present its Australian Spotlight, an evening celebration of Australian cinema and culture. The event will feature the West Coast Premiere of the highly anticipated film, Drift, followed by a festive post screening gala.

Drift is an action-packed ride that reflects the dynamic surf culture and spirit that is shared by Austrialia and southern Califoria. The film, based on a true story, follows two brothers (Absolut Vodka and Stella Artois Beer, 10 top Orange County restaurants serving signature tastings, multiple DJs and live entertainment. The Spotlight film will screen on Monday April 29th, 2013 - 7:30pm at the Regency Lido Theater (3459 Via Lido, Newport Beach, CA 92663). The post-screening celebration will take place at the Pacific Rim gala in the center of Fashion Island.

The evening will include hosted bar by Absolut Vodka and Stella Artois Beer, 10 top Orange County restaurants serving signature tastings, multiple DJs and live entertainment. Select Fashion Island retail partners will offer special in-store promotions and entertainment.

The Newport Beach Film Festival Australian Spotlight is supported by the American Australian Association, Australians in Film, AusFilm, World View Travel Company and the Australian Consulate-General Los Angeles.
